Introduction

     My dear friends! After getting acquainted with the wonderful fantasy story "The Chronicle of Narnia", I think you are ready to create something in your classroom. I hope this task you will really enjoyed. I can't wait :)

Task:

     You should divide in several groups (3-5 people) according to your choice. Then I'll give the neccesary information which may help you. But this task we will do in the classroom.

     Food is very neccesary not just for ordinary people but also for Narnians and, of course, they have their favourite dishes.

So, imagine that you are cook or the inhabitant of Narnia and you should feed your Narnian friends. Try to surprise them with tasty food.

Process:

1. Divide in several groups (3-5 people)
2. This site will help you to cook the disches. There are 4 kind of dishes and each group should take one of them (one group has one dish for cooking). However, the breakfast, the tea, the dinner and the desert must be cooked and presented.
3. Here you can also take the recipe for cooking the Turkish Delight.
4. Read the recipes and bring the necessary food
5. As I've already mentioned, these kinds of food were mentioned in the book in a certain degree, that's why try to find information about it
6. Then you should introduce us your dish telling how you cooked it, what creatures can eat it and why you decided so. I hope you can tell us more than we know. Be creative and careful!

Evaluation:

Evaluation won't be so serious but we will evaluate it following way:
10-20 points for your fantastic dishes. Make it tasty and veeeery appetizing
10-20 points for introducing your dish and telling us facts from the book or movie what you find
10-20 points for spelling words. Please, try to pay attention to it because it is very important when you perform amongst people
Total: 60 points for task.

Conclusion

    I suppose that you have really enjoyed my task because everyone likes food. Doing this task, you have improved your ability in cooking, you have developed your team-working skills, also you have learned to search necessary information and you have improved you spelling and performing in public.
